Expanding educational opportunity through community
[email protected]Programs
We pair direct educational resources with guidance, cultural connection, and financial assistance—because opportunity is strongest when students have more than one kind of support.
Students connect with volunteer tutors and experienced professionals who can help make academic and career decisions feel more understandable and achievable.
Our workshops integrate cultural awareness with academic skill-building. Students are encouraged to think critically, engage fully, and see their lived experience as a source of strength.
Merit-based financial assistance supports students with demonstrated financial need, encouraging academic achievement and continued pursuit of knowledge.
Hardworking students from low-income families should have meaningful access to higher education.
The legacy behind the scholarship
Mr. Feng Wantao (1936–2015) devoted more than 30 years to teaching middle and high school students. After retirement, he continued serving others by supporting underprivileged children in Beijing.
Established in his memory, the Feng Wantao Scholarship honors that lifelong dedication to learning by supporting deserving students on their educational journeys.
Applicants should submit a completed application and required supporting materials by email. Selected finalists may be invited to a phone interview.
