Our mentorship program connects students with volunteer tutors and experienced professionals across various fields. Participants receive guidance on academic pathways, career planning, and personal development.
We organize workshops that integrate cultural awareness with academic skill-building. These sessions are designed to reinforce identity while promoting critical thinking and educational engagement.
The mission of the FengZheng Cultural Foundation is to promote educational equity and expand access to learning opportunities for students and families from all backgrounds. The Feng Wantao Scholarship advances this mission by providing merit-based financial assistance to students with demonstrated financial need, encouraging academic achievement and the pursuit of knowledge.
Mr. Feng Wantao (1936–2015) devoted more than 30 years to teaching middle and high school students. After retirement, he continued serving others by supporting underprivileged children in Beijing. He firmly believed that hardworking students from low-income families should have meaningful access to higher education. Established in his memory, the Feng Wantao Scholarship honors this legacy by supporting deserving students in their educational journeys.
Each year, up to five scholarships may be awarded, with individual awards ranging from $100 to $1,000, based on academic merit and financial need. Applicants must submit a completed application form and all required supporting materials by email to [email address to be added] no later than September 15 of the current year. Following an initial review, selected finalists may be invited to participate in a phone interview. Scholarship recipients will be notified by December 15.
